  8. We will comply with the laws and regulations, guidelines and other standards set by the government regarding the handling of personal information.

Handling of Personal Information


    We handle personal information as follows, based on our privacy policy.

    We may provide your personal information, such as your name, workplace and home addresses, phone number, fax number, email address, etc., to our partner companies, universities, independent administrative agencies, and other research institutions when we need to do business with them.   11. Handling of Specified Personal Information
    1. With respect to our business activities, mainly in the information service industry, we will comply with the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify Individuals in Administrative Procedures (hereinafter referred to as the "Number Law"), the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and the Guidelines for the Appropriate Handling of Specified Personal Information (Business Edition) with respect to Specified Personal Information.
    2. We will ensure the proper handling of Specified Personal Information by setting our "Personal Information Protection Policy" as the "Basic Policy on the Proper Handling of Specified Personal Information".
    3. The Company shall acquire and use Specified Personal Information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use of Specified Personal Information for the performance of administrative procedures related to social security, taxation and disaster countermeasures as set forth in each item of Article 9 of the Number Law.
      The main scope of use of Specified Personal Information handled by the Company is as follows.
      1. Operation in which the Company receives specific personal information from its employees, etc., writes it in the necessary documents such as withholding tax certificates for salaried and retired income, payroll payment reports, employment insurance notifications, notifications of the acquisition of health insurance and employees' pension insurance qualifications, etc., and submits it to the tax office director, the head of the municipality, the head of the Japan Pension Service, etc.
      2. Operations in which we receive the provision of Specified Personal Information and submit it to the Director of the Tax Office in the form of a payment record such as a record of remuneration, fees, etc., a record of payment of dividends, distribution of surplus and interest on foundation funds, a record of payment of real estate rental fees, etc., a record of payment of consideration for the transfer of real estate, etc.
      3. Operations for which we have been entrusted by a government agency or other business entity to handle specific personal information.
    4. We will not provide any specific personal information of an individual to a third party unless it is required by laws and regulations. We will not share the information with any third parties. However, in cases that correspond to any of the items set forth in Article 19 of the Number Law (Restriction on Provision of Specified Personal Information), the Company may provide Specified Personal Information to a third party.
    5. We may outsource the handling of specific personal information within the scope of the purposes of use stipulated by law.
    6. Requests for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, cessation of use, cessation of provision to a third party, notification of the purpose of use, or complaints about specific personal information held by us shall be in accordance with "7. Disclosure of Personal Information, Complaints and Consultation" of the Company.
  12. Disclosure of Personal Information, Complaints and Consultation
